As project coordinator, Elissa Black heads The Utah Prairie Dog Recovery Implementation Program (UPDRIP).This multi-partner collaboration effort has formed to combine resources to support the recovery of the Utah prairie dog while balancing the land use needs of the public. Funding comes from the Endangered Species Mitigation Fund. Total funding for UPDRIP is $125,000 over a five-year period with support from the following agencies:
