Chung-Hsin High School

Teach English at Chung-Hsin High School in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan!

Compensation:

A monthly stipend, lodgings, and round-trip airfare from SLC or LAS to Taipei.  Interns will also receive one round-trip weekend flight ticket to Hong Kong per semester and three hours of Chinese language classes per week.

Teaching Hours:

A minimum of 16 class periods per week will be expected of SUU interns.  Interns who teach beyond the 16 hours will receive an additional stipend.

Requirements:

Interns must

• have completed at least 60 credit hours of college-level work and ENGL 2010 with a grade of B + or higher
• be native English speakers
• have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the college level
• complete an initial interview and be recommended by the SUU Global Engagement Center
