SUU Annual Fund
Annual support of alumni, friends, business and industry is critical to Southern Utah University's future. Private gifts enable the University to enhance its programs and facilities; providing a margin of excellence not possible through state assistance. Your gifts help the University go beyond what is possible with its tax-based budget alone.
The ultimate measure of a university is the caliber of its graduates, and those graduates often are judged by the current reputation of their alma mater. SUU alumni can take pride in their University's quality and image, and the value of their association with its being enhanced each year.
Private annual gifts help support excellence in every area of the University:
- In the classroom: Annual gifts enable the University to provide scholarships that will attract the best students and support faculty/student research projects.
- In the library and computer labs: Private contributions enable students and faculty to have access to the most current information and technology.
- On the playing fields: Thunderbird Club memberships support the pursuit of excellence in athletics.
- In the performance halls and galleries: Private giving provides culturally enriching programs in arts, theater and vocal and instrumental performance.
OUR MISSION
To promote a commitment to annual support of Southern Utah University through consistent giving and involvement among the broadest audience of T-Birds and Friends. To this end we identify, recruit, and nurture future generations of contributors and leaders for SUU.
PHONATHON
Each year, students are recruited to be the voice of SUU to our alumni. They spend their nights during the school year calling alumni and parents in support of the SUU Annual Fund, the University’s Recruitment & Retention Scholarship Fund, The President’s Club, and our academic departments,
