Description This position is located out of the Forest Supervisors Office located in Cedar City, Utah. The primary responsibilities of this position include Forest level monitoring of Regional Sensitive species, threatened, and endangered species monitoring and work with other species and programs as assigned. This will include some limited fisheries support, and monitoring of sensitive plant species. ATV's may be necessary to access some sites and ATV training will be provided. Similarly, the position involves the use of a GPS and other small equipment; however, training will be provided for all equipment and monitoring/survey techniques.

Salary/Wage $11.95-$15.00 per hour, depending upon experience and schooling
Work Hours 40 hours per week
Qualifications A valid driver's license, willingness to operate an ATV, willingness to travel up to 3 nights a week and stay in either guard stations or in a tent. Tent camping will be limited. Out of town travel will be approximately 16-18 throughout the 4 month position. All camping gear will be provided by the Forest Service except for personal gear such as a sleeping bag. An attitude of support for safety in the workplace.
