Description This position is located out of the Fremont River or the old Teasdale Ranger District located in Teasdale, Utah. The primary responsibilities of this position include District level monitoring of Regional Sensitive species, threatened, and endangered species monitoring and work with other species and programs as assigned. Other duties will include water development repair, log fencing, and habitat improvement project manipulation. This may include some limited fisheries support, and monitoring of sensitive plant species. Utah prairie dog plague abatement will occur for a portion of the summer. ATV's may be necessary to access some sites and ATV training will be provided. Similarly, the position involves the use of a GPS and other small equipment; however, training will be provided for all equipment and monitoring/survey techniques.

Salary/Wage $11.95-$15.00 per hour depending upon experience and schooling
Work Hours 40 hours per week
Qualifications A valid driver's license, and a willingness to operate an ATV. An attitude of support for safety in the workplace. ATV's may be necessary to access some sites and ATV training will be provided. Similarly, the position involves the use of a GPS and other small equipment; however, training will be provided for all equipment and monitoring/survey techniques.
