The Washington County Alumni Chapter hosted its First Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at The Ledges Golf Course on September 16, 2006. Our goal was to raise enough funds to award one SUU Alumni Scholarship to a student from each of Washington County's five high schools. We are excited to report that we reached that goal!
A big thank you goes out to members of our Golf Tournament Committee for a job well done. Thank you to SUU Alumnus Colby Cowan and The Ledges Staff for making the tournament a success. Those involved in the planning performed flawlessly and even arranged for the weather to cooperate, despite cool temperatures and strong winds the day before.
We are very appreciative of the twelve teams that participated: Rosenberg and Associates (2 teams), KempBurck, Snow Jensen & Reece, Costco, Zions Bank, Sunfirst Bank, DMJ Realty, SUU, The Boulevard Home Furnishings, Ledges Land LC and PEER Technologies.
