Scholarship Jubilee garners rave reviews
On November 1, 2003, Southern Utah University hosted the first SUU Scholarship Jubilee including a gourmet dinner, auction and entertainment from a Las Vegas headliner. The goal was to raise $50,000 from the evening’s festivities for SUU student scholarships. The University achieved 160% of the goal by raising over $75,000.
SUU President Steven Bennion stated “The evening was a great event—one of the finest we have ever held. It instilled a lot of great spirit and support for the University, making this the start of a great tradition at SUU!”
Special thanks go to the Chefs from the Painted Pony and Scaldoni’s in St. George and Rusty’s in Cedar City as well as Mo Hinton’s 
SUU chefs for the delicious haute cuisine; everything from Chateau Briand to Escolar Butter Fish and Créme Brulee to Ganosh Mousse Cake.
