Before SUU: Signed with Brigham Young University, but did not play because of a medical redshirt.

Prep: Four-year letter-winner in baseball and basketball and two-year letter-winner in cross country … named a league all-star in 2002 while playing outfield and first-team all-state and league MVP while playing utility and pitcher in 2003 … helped the Red Raiders to league championships in 2001, 2003 and 2004 … two-time league all-star in basketball and the league’s leading scorer in 2003.

Personal: Majoring in sociology ... hobbies include snowboarding and being on the beach.
