Official Visit Policy and Procedure

1. Coach will submit Official Visit Request Form along with a completed Travel Authorization, Travel Itinerary, High school or College transcript and Test Scores.
2. Compliance Office will add the PSA to the NCAA Clearinghouse, complete an initial evaluation of the PSA’s academic work, and check that the official visit will be during a permissible period.
3. Compliance office will notify coach whether the Official Visit has been approved by email.
4. Compliance office will send 5 visit letter, along with links to SUU’s grad rates and APR scores to the PSA.
5. Coach will have the student host complete the Student Host form prior to giving them their student host money.
6. During the visit the Coach will have the PSA complete the Prospect Declaration Form.
7. After the completion of the visit the coach will turn in the Official Visit Summary, Official Visit Mileage form, signed Student Host Form, signed Prospect Declaration Form, lodging receipts and meal receipts to the compliance office.
8. Coach will complete their reimbursement with the athletic business office in a timely manner.
9. Compliance office will review the Official Visit file to make sure that the visit was in compliance with NCAA rules.
