Coach Mike KnightMike Knight joins the Thunderbird staff this year after completing his career with an all-GWFC season last year.

A two-year letterman for the Thunderbirds, Knight was one of the anchors of the squad the past two seasons, serving as a team captain and earning all-conference honors both seasons, as an honorable metion performer in 2005 and as a second-team honoree last year.

Knight, who also played two years at nearby Dixie State College, played football and ran track for current SUU head football coach Wes Meier at Salt Lake City-area Murray high School.
