Coach Dustin Pearce
Special Teams Coordinator/Linebackers

A letterman for the Thunderbirds at the turn of the century, Dustin Pearce returned to the fold in the winter of 2004 as linebackers coach and special teams coordinator after spending several seasons as an assistant and head coach in the high school ranks.

Over the past two seasons Coach Pearce has seen four of his charges earn all-GWFC honors, including LBs Steve Smith, Robert Takeno and La’Var Porter and P/K Brandon Perkins.

In 2004 he took over as head coach and offensive coordinator at Enterprise High, where he guided the Wolves to an 8-4 record and an appearance in the Utah 1-A semifinals prior to joining the Thunderbird staff.

Prior to his time at Enterprise, Pearce spent two seasons as defensive coordinator at West Jordan High School while serving as the school’s head softball coach and working with the WJHS basketball teams as well. He also coached football and baseball at Cedar High School while completing his degree at SUU.

A 2002 graduate of SUU, Pearce was a two-year letterman and two-year starter at defensive end for the Thunderbirds.

Coach Pearce is the father of three children, Braxton (7), Carter (5) and Lettie (4).
