At SUU 2003-04: Sat out the season as a redshirt ... SUU 2003: Earned second team all-Mid-Con recognition after posting an 8k PR of 26:07 to finish 12th overall at the conference championships ... notched a 10k personal-best 33:39 at the NCAA Mountain Regional.

At UVSC 2001: Was an NJCAA all-American in indoor track, running in the 800-m (1:54) and 1,500-m (3:56).

At American Fork HS: Lettered in cross country and track ... earned academic all-American recognition.

Personal: Born September 14, 1978 in Provo, Utah ... mother is Blair Sampson ... currently majoring in sports medicine.
