Jeramie Murray, Assistant Coach

Jeramie Murray is in his 10th season as assistant coach in the Southern Utah cross country and track program, though this is his second season as a full-time assistant. Murray will assist with the cross country teams and will oversee the sprint and hurdle events.

A former Thunderbird sprinter, four-year letterwinner and all-conference honoree, Murray graduated from SUU in 1998 with a degree in physical education. He then went on to earn a Master’s degree at SUU in education in 2000.

During his tenure at SUU, Coach Murray has mentored 98 all-conference athletes, 31 individual conference champions and one NCAA all-American, as well as assisting in 23 Mid-Continent Conference team titles, including the 2003-04 dual “Triple Crown” team champions.

Murray, an USATF Level II certified coach, and his wife, Heather, currently reside in Cedar City.
