Student Assistant Kortny Hall is in her first season on the SUU staff following her senior season for the Thunderbirds last year.

Ms. Hall is working on her student teaching at Cedar High School and will graduate in May with a bachelor's degree in secondary physical education with an emphasis in coaching and a minor in health.  

In 2006 Ms. Hall, a native of Peroria, Arizona, helped lead the Thunderbirds to a Mid-Continent Conference championship and tournament championship playing catcher. Ms. Hall was named to the all-conference first-team at catcher and to the Mid-Con's all-tournament team. She finished the season with the team's third-highest batting average (.349) and a .574 slugging mark, with 10 home runs, two triples, 10 doubles, and 54 RBI.
