At Edenglen HS: Earned full colours for both tennis and netball and half colours for softball and academic achievement ... district cross country champion ... earned school’s merit award for athletics ... was named tennis player of the year four times and netball player of the year twice, also named Sportwoman of the Year twice ... was a prefect and house captain.

National/International Competition:  Ranked No. 1 in 23-and-under and No. 18 in 18-and-under in South African singles ... was a provincial squad player for seven years ... was selected for the Gauteng East inter-provincial team, representing them at the national tournament for both u/16 and u/18 levels ... four-time national USSASA representative ... provincial player of the year and most dedicated junior player.

Personal: Born Feb. 11, 1987 in South Africa ... parents are Chris and Gill Docherty ... plans to major in hotel management.
