Tony Giannotti, Interim Head Coach
Third Year (Southern Utah, 2000)

Tony Giannotti is in the third year as assistant coach of Southern Utah’s women’s program. This is his second stint as a Thunderbird assistant coach as he had also served as an assistant for the men’s program in the 2001-02 season. Giannotti’s responsibilities include development of the perimeter players, recruiting, coordinating travel, practice and game preparation, on-floor practice duties, fall conditioning workouts and film exchange.

Giannotti, 29, was a two-year letterwinner at SUU as a reserve guard from 1995-97. Before his career at SUU, he competed in basketball, baseball and cross country at College of the Siskiyous in Weed, California. Giannotti was also an all-state and all-conference performer in basketball, baseball and football at Pahrump Valley HS.

Giannotti, a native of Pahrump, Nevada, graduated from SUU in May of 2000 with a degree in physical education and currently resides in Cedar City.
