SUU Students Achieve Top Scores on National TestRobert Tebbs, a SUU accounting graduate who scored in the 95 th percentile on the ETS test, said, “I felt well prepared for the ETS test—especially in the management and accounting functions.” Not only did Robert score exceptionally high on the national exam, but also as the following table illustrates, SUU students in general scored exceptionally high on the ETS test, which indicates the faculty and curriculum at SUU are indeed teaching the students valuable information; and the quality of education received at SUU is outstanding.
Educational Testing Service (ETS) is the world's largest private educational testing and measurement organization and a leader in educational research. ETS develops and administers more than 12 million tests worldwide. ETS's primary purpose has been the development of tests and other assessment tools to provide information (including test scores and interpretative data) to test takers, educational institutions, and others who require this information. The Business School’s mission is to facilitate learning and growth by emphasizing small classes with individual attention, and a collegial atmosphere with frequent opportunities for student-faculty interaction. The recent ETS data indicates that SUU’s Business School is on the right path to obtaining the mission statement and improving student education. |
