ROTC Ranger Challenge Requirements:

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)   Consisting of as many push as you can do in 2 minutes, as many sit-ups you can do in two minutes, and the two mile run.
Obstacle course   This is a timed event with penalties if obstacles are not completed correctly.
Confidence course This is made up of obstacles that invoke some fear, mostly heights. Each team just has to complete the obstacles.  Not  timed
M16 Marksmanship Target shooting for a combined score.
Patrolling   Using tactical skills patrolling skills in a squad size element.
One rope competition  Using one rope get all team members across  from one tree to another in the fastest time.
Repelling Repel from a 70 foot tower
Map Reading Take a written test
Land Navigation Teams go out in groups of three to find points that are worth a score based on the difficulty in finding them. This is a timed event.
10K road march. In full uniform carrying an M16 and a 35-40 lb ruck, run a little over 6 miles and finish as a team.
   

The Ranger Challenge team is made up of 10 SUU ROTC cadets.  At least on team member must be a female.
