Nurses are vital to our Army because they provide the support necessary to ensure that American fighting men and women receive the best possible health care. The Army recognizes the importance of nurses, and students who wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a master's degree in the same may enroll in the ROTC program and receive special benefits.
Benefits of this scholarship option include:
-Up to $20,000 annual tuition assistance drawn from a separate nurse fund, which means nursing cadets are more likely to receive a scholarship.
-$450 per semester for books ($900 annually).
-Monthly stipend of $300 for first year students, $350 for second year students, $450 for third year students, and $500 for fourth year students.
-Cash bonuses of several thousand dollars and up for certain specialty fields or duty assignments.
