The Adams Memorial Theatre is largely used for the Utah Shakespearean Festival as well as for various student productions throughout the school year. It was dedicated in 1977 and holds 777 people. Although no one is certain as to the exact proportions of Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, this theater has many similar characteristics to the original Globe Theater. Within a few years, the Adams Theatre will be replaced by a similar theater, which will include wider seats, and a retractable roof.
