Department Drag Car

The Department of Technology is in the process of constructing a department drag car. The department was given a 1981 Chevy Monte Carlo. Local business have donated parts to help in the completion of the car.

Small block 350 with 4 bolt main
1.94/1.50 heads match ported and bowl blended
11.0 to 1 dome pistons
Crane Energizer camshaft with 246 duration @.050 .500/.500 lift
Tunnel Ram with Twin 600 cfm Holley's
Turbo 350 with B&M stage II shift kit
Art Carr 10 inch 3000 stall converter
4.56 Richmond ring and pinion gear set
Auburn limited slip differential
