Math 1010 Intermediate Algebra

Description:  The traditional topics of intermediate algebra are covered: graphing linear equations and inequalities, absolute value equations and inequalities, factoring, rational expressions, exponents, radicals, quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, and an introduction to sets, functions and complex numbers.

Credits:  5

Prerequisite(s): A recent (within the last two years) Math ACT of at least 18 or successful completion of Math 0990 within the last two years.

Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer

Other: This course does not fill the requirement for general education.
