Math 1020 College Mathematics

Description:  A course to enable students to build their math skills in order to prepare for the quantitative literacy requirement for general education. The course will include an introduction to problem solving, sets, number systems including the real and complex numbers, linear equations and inequalities, absolute value equations and inequalities, rational expressions, radicals, quadratic equations and functions and exponential functions.

Credits:  5

Prerequisite(s): A recent (within the last two years) Math ACT of at least 14
