Math 1030 Quantitative Reasoning

Description:  Exploration of contemporary mathematical thinking, motivated by its application to problems in modern society; emphasizes development of skill in analytical reasoning. This course is designed not only to meet the University general education requirements but also to generate a positive attitude toward and an interest in mathematics.

Credits:  4

Prerequisite(s): A recent (within the last two years) Math ACT of 23 or a grade of C or better in Math 1010 or Math 1020 within the last two years.

Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer

Other: Fulfills the University general education quantitative literacy requirement.
