Math 2270 Linear Algebra with Applications

Description: Systems of linear equations, matrices; Euclidean vector spaces, linear transformations between Euclidean vector spaces, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, abstract vector spaces, and linear transformations, least-squares solution of systems of linear equations, and applications to conic sections and determinants. Concepts will be applied to economics, engineering, biology, sociology, etc.

Credits: 3

Prerequisite(s): Math 1210, Math 1220 or Math 1100 or equivalent and fundamental computer skills.
