Math 6010 Systems of Numbers

Description: An introduction to the number systems of mathematics. Using an axiomatic approach and constructing models and examples, the number systems—natural, integer, rational, real, and complex are developed and studied. The course is designed to give a comprehensive understanding of number systems.

Credits: 3

Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C" or better in Math 1050 and Math 1060.
