On-Campus Resources

SUU’s undergraduate research and scholarship program (UGRASP) provides grants to students, instructors, and mentors to support undergraduate research and scholarship activities. UGRASP also provides information, services and links to on and off-campus resources that are applicable to all disciplines.

  • UGRASP - Up to $500 for research expenses and up to $500 for presentation expenses. See UGRASP site for application forms and deadlines.
  • The Writing Center – The Writing Center offers free help with writing at any stage of the writing process, from research proposals and grant applications to reports and abstracts.
  • Office of International Affairs – This office provides support for international travel and research activities as well as study abroad ventures for students.
  • SUU Library – The SUU library offers guides, self-paced instructional resources and credit courses to help students become more proficient at using the Web and library databases for their research activities.
  • SUU Honors Program – Participation in undergraduate research is suggested for students in the Honors program.
