Math 1040 Statistics
Description: An introduction to the basic concepts and methods of statistical data analysis. Descriptive statistics, statistical graphs, statistical estimation techniques and hypothesis testing, regression and correlation; chi-square application, one-way ANOVA.

Prerequisite(s): A recent (within the last two years) Math ACT of 23 or a grade of C or better in Math 1010 within the last two years.

Other: Cannot receive credit for both Math 1040 and Math 2040. Fulfills the University general education quantitative literacy requirement.
