Admissions Update: Competitive Admissions
The Department of Nursing admits 20 pre-licensure students fall and spring semesters. This is a competitive admission based on: Cumulative GPA, Required Support Course GPA, Work/School History, Essay, and References. LPN's will apply with the Pre-licensure students and will be evaluated on the same criteria. Application deadline for Fall 2012 is February 10, 2012. Applicants will be notified by mail in March of the Admissions and Advancement Committee's decision. All decisions by the committee are final and may not be appealed.
TEAS V(R) test Dates are here! All tests will be proctored in SC 023 or SC 301 - 20 testers maximum per test date, on a first come-first serve basis Wednesday, November 30, 2011 – 2:00 PM; Friday, December 2, 2011 – 1:00 PM; Friday, January 13, 2012 – 10:00AM; Thursday, January 26, 2012 – 1:00 PM; Friday, February 3, 2012 – 10:00 AM.
This is a 3 hour and 45 minute, four-option multiple-choice test with 170 total questions. Please come prepared for this length of time.

Payable to the SUU Cashier's Office - All checks made payable to “SUU Nursing (NURS2)” (attached deposit form required with payment). Students will only be allowed to test after presentation of their receipt on their test date.

RN to BSN Admissions
RN to BSN applications for classes starting May 2012 need to be submitted to the Department of Nursing ON or BEFORE 12:00 p.m. December 2, 2011.
