L.S. and Aline W. Skaggs Research and Scholarship Funding

Description

L.S. AND ALINE W. SKAGGS Research Endowment will fund selected projects that meet the following criteria:

1. The project must make an original intellectual or creative contribution to a discipline within the College of Science and Engineering.
2. Students must demonstrate at least partial ownership of the project.
   NOTE: L.S. AND ALINE W. SKAGGS  will not provide funding for students to simply work on a project assigned by a faculty member.
3. The student must engage with the academic history of the discipline in which they are working.
4. The project must be presentable in the format accepted by professionals within the discipline in which the student is working.

Amount

Determined by committee.   

[NOTE: At this time no stipends or travel to present research findings are being funded through this Endowment. This Endowment is to fund the research (materials, supplies, travel to collect data, etc.).] 

Eligibility

All SUU current undergraduate students majoring in a discipline within the College of Science and Engineering.
