About Us

Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Women and Families is to enrich the University through education, support, and advocacy, to make Southern Utah University a truly outstanding place for all women. Through resource networking and programming the Center for Women and Families is a place for information about family and gender issues.

Future Goals

• Future publicize our purpose and function
• Establish at least 1 program or activity every month
• Establish our own permanent funding
• Raise more awareness of the Center
• Give out the results of the Needs Assessment Survey
• Raise campus awareness of women's issues
• Make SUU a better place for female students
• Get a more permanent/accessible place on campus
