SUU Cheer and Stunt Squad

Tryout Information

This years audition for the Southern Utah Cheer and Stunt Team will be held in Southern Utah University's Centrum Arena on Saturday, April 5th from 9 am-5 pm. The auditions for the Nationally ranked Waukeenyans will be held in the Southern Utah University's Centrum Arena on Saturday, April 12th from 9 am-5 pm.

Please come dressed in appropriate cheer/dance attire (shorts and appropriate tight fitting athletic top) shoes with hair and make-up performance ready for girls. Please bring with you an audition application, transcript, head shot, 2 letters of recommendation, and a $25 try-out fee.

Requirements
Female Cheer and Stunt
1-Standing Back Handspring/Back Tuck
2-Round off-Back Handspring Back Tuck/ Round off-Back Tuck
3-Toss Hands Liberty
4-Jumps, Kicks, Dance and Motions
5-Optional Stunt that highlights Top flexibility (stretch/arabesque full down)

Male Cheer and Stunt
1-Standing Back Tuck
2-Toss Hands Extension
3-Crowd Leading and Motions

Dance
1-Strong Dance Technique
2-Showmanship and Performance Ability
