Utah Educational Administrative/Supervisory License Goals and Objectives:

All Educational Administrative/Supervisory License Candidates must hold a current, valid teaching license.   Candidates are required to develop a collection of Professional Leadership Internship Artifacts as part of the candidate's Professional Portfolio.   Candidates will be required to take and pass the PRAXIS Educational Leadership Administration and Supervision Exam in preparation for State Licensure and be required to present and defend their Professional Work Sample, Leadership Portfolio, and Internship Artifact Log at a culminating interview.

 EDUC 6890 - Elementary Public School Administrative  Internship*

 EDUC 6891 - Secondary Public School Administrative Internship *

 EDUC 6892 - Capstone Public School Administrative Internship  (Serves as M.Ed. Final Project)

 * ALL couse work must be completed before beginning Elementary or Secondary Internship.  Elementary and Secondary Internships only available during the Fall and Spring semesters.  Capstone may be completed during the Summer session.

 PRAXIS Educational Leadership Administration & Supervision: Test Code 0410.  Contact   http://www.ets.org to set up the test. Candidates seeking state licensure in educational administration must achieve a passing score on the PRAXIS Educational Leadership:

Candidates must also demonstrate professional competency through presenting a professional portfolio and work sample addressing ELCC standards at an exit interview.
