National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD)

The National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) was founded in 1944. Itis an organization of schools, colleges, and universities. , which establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials in art and design. Through a peer review process of accreditation, Art Education and other programs can be accredited, and the applying school can be granted institutional membership. Southern Utah University has followed the peer review process and gained accreditation of its Art Education option.
