In addition to seeking accreditation and national recognition, the faculty and staff of the college believe it is important to align programs with the standards of appropriate professional organizations. The sources for the primary standards for the college's programs are the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC), the National Board for Professional Teacher Standards (NBPTS), and the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) standards (2008) and the Educational Leadership Constituents Council (ELCC) standards (2007 and before) of the National Policy Board for Educational Administration (NPBEA).
