The Piano Ensemble will perform on Monday, April 15, 2013 at a special time of 6:00pm in the intimate Thorley Recital Hall within SUU’s Music Building. Under the direction of Dr. Christian Bohnenstengel, the Piano Ensemble will perform the always-beloved Eine kleine Nachtmusik by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Plenty o Nuttin’, Summertime, and It Ain’t Necessarily So by George Gershwin, and the lively Gypsy Song (arranged by Mark Nevin). They will also perform Rondella Aragonesa by Enrique Granados arranged by Phyllis Gunther, the recognizable Serenade by Franz Shubert arranged by Edwin McLean, the traditional Amazing Grace arranged by Chris Lobdell, and the energetic Ein Spanier für Elise by Michael Proksch. The piano ensemble consists of Sasha Bainson, Yu Yuan Fuh, Catherine Gardner, Rashelle Jensen, Jackie Joseph, Kendra Leavitt, Jacob Lee and Ye Zi.
