Economics 5540 Economics for Teachers

This class is now available as a distance learning class through the SUU School of Continuing and Professional Studies.   This class covers the 20 principles of economics from the National Council on Economic Education.  This class is 2 semester hours of credit.  Economic standards and objectives have been developed for each grade K-12 by USOE. This class will equip K-12 teachers with the knowledge and materials to meet their grade core economic requirements. Teaches will understand the basic principles of economics, the requirements for economics at grade level, and knowledge of teaching grade level concepts. Instructor: Joe Baker
