Stage Management

Welcome to Stage Management! In this class, students will learn the basics of stage management at an introductory level. Students will gain an insight into what a stage manager does, from pre‐ to post-production [including all audition, rehearsal, tech, and performance responsibilities]. This course will concentrate the multi-faceted role of the Stage Manager, putting an emphasis on the collaborative process necessary to mount a live production. This class website houses all information students need for the course, such as readings not found in the textbook, examples of all paperwork created throughout the semester, and all visual aids used in class discussion.
