The Manipulate command in Mathematica simplifies the creation of interactive demonstrations that can be accessed in the classroom via the free Mathematica Player.

Thousands of demonstrations from a wide variety of topics are freely available online at the Wolfram Demonstrations Project.

Creating and editing demonstrations requires a full version of Mathematica.  In general, all demonstrations are based on the Manipulate command which has the syntax

Manipulate[

 Mathematica command involving a parameter,

{ parameter name, minimum value, maximum value }
