Charla Strosser is an Assistant Professor of English at Southern Utah University. Her research interests include fairy tales, detective fiction, and southwestern literature. She primarily teaches ENGL 1010: Introduction to Academic Writing, ENGL 2010: Writing about Fairy Tales, ENGL 2010: Writing about Detective Fiction, and ENGL 2040: Professional Business Writing.
Before coming to SUU, Charla taught at El Paso Community College and Dona Ana Community College. Professor Strosser earned her MA in English from the University of North Texas.
Charla is married to Garrett Strosser, Assistant Professor of Psychology, and they have one son, Miles. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, and of course, reading.
