Annual Faculty/Student Scholarship Day

DeRay Jensen presented a project on the stratigraphy and depositional environment of the Springdale Sandstone Member of the Jurassic Moenave Formation.

2002 graduate, Eric Mitchell, presented the results of his stratigraphic analysis of the Petrified Forest Member of the Triassic Chinle Formation.

Also and 2002 graduate, "always serious" Joe Whitaker presented his study of the Triassic Shinarump Conglomerate Member of the Chinle Formation.

Rex McCall examined the stratigraphy and depositional environment of the Virgin Limestone Member of the Triassic Moenkopi Formation, near its type locality at Virgin, Utah.
