Metamorphic Collecting Field Trip

SUU students Jared and Cassie enjoy the October sunshine and look over Quaternary deposits west of St. George. SUU student Vicki gets caught in the act of enjoying a sunny day away from classes. The SUU group takes a close look at a metamorphic outcrop in this exposure west of St. George. "This sure beats sitting in class!", says Marianne. Taking a closer look at another outcrop in the 2.2 billion year old metamorphics of the Beaver Dam mountains, west of St. George, Utah.
