Final Project/Courtroom Analysis

Item 1: Becoming the expert.

You have now had an opportunity to survey your particular field or emphasis area.  Provide an analysis of your total preparedness in that field as it would relate to the potential for future employment or work within the courts.  Focus on your field only; do not attempt to critique other areas which are outside of your area of expertise.  Concentrate on your respective knowledge as it relates to the job performance you anticipate in a future career.

Item 2: Capstone Project for Courtroom

Each of you have undertaken a particular project outside of class in preparation for the courtroom portion of the class.  The major reason for this is to bring together the scholarly work you’ve been doing and put it into context as an expert.  Provide a critical analysis of both your own work and of the success (or failure) you have experienced in this course. As part of this analysis consider the following items:

A. How much preparation and effort was made outside of class.

B. The difficulties you had in determining the appropriate level of technique or skill needed to present in court.

C. The specific knowledge and/or methods that you had to develop to present in court.
