Manufacturing Engineering (ENGR 4060)

Students in this course learn manufacturing processes common in industry including casting, forming, machining, and joining of metals, ceramics, and polymers. An associated practicum allows students to draw, plan, manufacture, and apply quality assurance processes to an individual project in our metals laboratory. Manufacturing operations management and quality assurance methods are also studied.

Class Time: MF 9:00 – 9:50 pm (Fall) W 8:00 – 11:00 am (Fall)

Prerequisite: ENGR 3010 Materials Science and Engineering
Co-requisite: ENGR 4025 Integrated Engineering Design Lab I
