Join the National Hispanic Honor Society, aka Sigma Delta Pi.

Requirements:

• Your GPA for all Spanish courses must average at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• You must have completed at least three semesters of college coursework and have an overall GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• You must have completed at least one upper division course in Hispanic literature, culture, or civilization. (Students who are currently completing their first literature, culture, or civilization course may apply for membership if the instructor of the course certifies their work is "B" or higher.)
• You must attend the initiation ceremony. (Family and friends are welcome to attend.)

• Meet and socialize with other Spanish majors and minors.
• Qualify for scholarships available only to Sigma Delta Pi members.
• Receive a certificate, pin, and honor cords for graduation.
• Improve your resume or applications for grad school.
