Homework Assignment #2

This assignment is to investigate two different types of next-generation sequencing platforms.

Rather than focusing on details, focus on the overall technologies and how they detect nucleotide incorporation. (For example, the level of detail described in our textbook on page 57 for pyrosequencing) Both of the following links take you to the company’s webpage. There are some quick videos that will give you a better idea of how these new instruments function.
