This assignment is to read a paper that was published July 23, 2012 in C&EN describing how personalized medicine, based on a patient’s genetic information is being used to target therapy more effectively. Again, don’t worry so much about the details of these specific drugs, but in the overall idea and how this sort of companion diagnostics is revolutionizing medicine.
