As the Director of Career Services, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and invite you to visit SUU's Career Services Center.
For the last 15 years I have been a career development specialist; prior to that I was a professional French hornist. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute and am a National Certified Career Counselor. In 1996 I relocated from Santa Monica, California where I worked in Career Development at Pepperdine University and maintained a private career planning practice: Career Portfolios.
At SUU I enjoy helping students with both planning and implementing their careers -- from choosing a major to securing a job after graduation. I am available for individual appointments and drop-ins. Stop by Sharwan Smith 201, call 586-5421, or e-mail me: linder@suu.edu
In addition, Career Service offers many workshops in Career Choice, Resume Writing, Interviewing, and Job Search Skills. I encourage you to participate and learn the skills that will prepare you to identify and present yourself successfully to potential employers.
