(This can be done in groups or as individuals).

Have the students read a book and turn it into

That they have read and turn it into a play, that they

Act out later in the year or with that specific Unit.

Have the students look at different paintings and write a story about what they think that painting is about.

This enables the students to be creative in what they see in the painting.

Have the students watch a dance performance and then tell what they think the dance is trying to portray.

And have they write their own story about the dance.
