Environment

 

 

1. Have students, with the help of a family member or older friend find a newspaper article that has to do with community leaders, in their community, or throughout the world. (Yassar Arafat, or Presidential election)

 

2. Have the students, as a class or alone, find who, what, where, when, why and how of each article.

 

 

3. Then have students write something about the article. This could include something they learned, their feelings about the article, or something they liked or disliked about it.
